Metal Plate rolling is an essential process of metal fabrication utilizing a plate roll or commonly known as a bending machine.
Most products created during plate rolling are sophisticated cutting edge and unique utility type equipment. Plate rolling forms a sheet of steel, aluminum, or stainless material into circular and other shapes by force thru powered rollers. It can roll into round and semi-round shapes, and even a square.
A plate rolling machine is powered by hydraulics or mechanical. The material is firmly held between the rolls, and another roll is then brought into position pushing to create the desired material to bend and be shaped. Rolling of flat sheet metal creates pipes, tanker trailers, buckets and press vessels.
